MOTOR Dinner Series is for those want to talk more about the humans they manage, versus the food and wine served that night.
MOTOR Dinner Series
In January 2015, the MOTOR Dinner Series launched in New York City for Managers on the Rise who want to bond with those sharing their passion to be better managers. Because the conversation is more important than the food and drink, dinners are hosted by a member at his/her office. Yes, the setting is slightly unglamorous, yet everyone can be heard, participate, and share. The conversation often revolves around those issues pressing on the brains and nerves of someone in the group. The mood is always casual, supportive, and highly inspiring.
Members are assigned to a specific group to maximize continuity and long-term bonding. All types of Managers may participate: Sales Managers and Revenue Support Managers (those who manage teams in Product Marketing, Account Planning, Client Services, etc.). The Dinner Series is optimal for Managers of all levels of tenure because the topics discussed are applicable for all levels and types of media businesses. Some participating Managers have been at their career for one year, others for up to 20 years.
The optimal size of a dinner group is ten so that everyone can participate. Dinners are held every other other month and have no fee other than the cost of the meal per person.
